Instead of starting a new thread, thought I would add to this one.
Cuban Mahogany is not exactly an alternative wood, though it is an unusual wood in the Mahogany world.
Here is an OM and a Size-1 on my bench currently.

Beautiful David! I'm very partial to CM and the two that I built out of it are some of my favorite guitars. I have the word out to both of their current stewards that I get dibs if they ever wanna sell.

CM and nice, old Euro or Adi makes a great instrument.
